I'm so dang BORED with my style and ESPECIALLY my hijab. I really want to changeeeeeee ittttt but feel so unsure. I do wear the occasional shawl but everytime I do, I catch my refelction and think YUCK. Look I do know I'm highly critical of myself, Ive always been this way. Yes I also am not the most confident person when it comes to my looks, and I think I keep my hijab style and use it like a crutch. You know, there's women out there who grow their hair really long, or boof it up and that's their crutch. Mine is this hoody style hijab, I feel that it slims my face I hide all my faults behind it. The other styles expose too much of my face, but Ive had enough. I NEED a change. So InshAllah, next set of pics I put up I hope to have something different, even if its a small diff its a start ye????
This is a style I really love, (helps that shes hot!) anyone know how its done, is it a pashmina shes wearing??? Im so retarded when it comes to hijabs!
So heres a few of me last week....think I need to accessorize a bit more too....
you seem to hide your face behind your scarf. use a wrap style and frame your face. it would look a lot fresher. start wearing long necklaces - it really livens an outfit up.
ReplyDeleteThese shawls are "ipekevi şal" % 100 silk. everyone is using them in turkey. İ really want to use my shawls this style but i couldn't do it. I can send you a link that shows how its done :)

I buy 100% silk shawls from Turkey Ebs they are tick and stay very good in place such as in the picture. I wear my hijab like that 90% of the time :)
ReplyDeleteSultan thanks for that, its so easy to do, I knew how to do the ends but wasnt sure what they did with the top, its just a small fold, easy! I am going to try and bring them in but they arent cheap are they?
ReplyDeleteMarsy who do you buy them from can you send me a link please on FB?? Can you put a pic up with one on u please???? and maybe a tutorial? You have a beautiful face mashALlah so I think it will suit u!
I just figured out why I think I dont like exposing so much face is I dont pluck my eyebrows and it looks nice when you have nicely shaped brows!!
that chick is hot!
ReplyDeletei dont know about pashmina's though they make my chins stick out, btw i love your pose...and your shoes!

Blue pearl your lovely.. I feel like such a big kid! I did sis and InshALlah you did too?
i think i have about 3 right now hoping to cut down to 1 large one.
ReplyDeleteIpekevi scarves (I think) have been the trend for about 6 months in Turkiye now. I know someone here wgo constantly wears them. Her mother sends them from Turkey. I'd love to have some too.
ReplyDeleteebs you have issues as i have seen u in shawl hijjies and i think they look gorgeous on you!! how can you say it looks off?? i can show you how to wrap your scarf like the picture if you like as i have tried it and think i have figured it out. also if you just groom your brows (as in gel them into place) they will look nice and neat no need to pluck yours as they already have a really good shape and thickness.
ReplyDeleteSound Schooling if I can manage to bring them in ill let you know but they are pretty pricey! They retail about $50-$60 in Turkey!
ReplyDeleteSeyma thanks show me when I see u next!
You should try the turkish style square scarf. They use wonderful prints and colors. The style of wrap gives good coverage secure and it is also slimming. I typically use this one.
