The parked was dubbed Alfred Nicholas after the owner who developed the "Aspro" pain killer. He purchased the estate and surrounding gardens in 1929. He employed gardeners to design and create the magical garden it is, but he unfortunately died before its completion. The gardens were then donated to the Victorian State Government.
Sherwood Forest......
Ok so I lied, not Sherwood Forest but located in the Dandenong Ranges along Sherbrooke Rd. But honestly this place is the MOST beautiful place I have EVER been to. No jokes. There was an area you will see in the photos near the lake where it felt surreal, like I was caught in another time and place....I did not want to leave. Its definitely a place I will frequent.
